"what greater thing is there for two human souls than to feel that they are joined together to strengthen each other in all labor, to minister to each other in all sorrow, to share with each other in all gladness, to be one with each other in the silent unspoken memories?" - george elliot
geoff and i sat over an amazing dinner at 915 Duval
on wednesday night taking in how beautiful key west was and how lucky and blessed we are to be here. i just have to take a time out to thank all of our blog readers and all of our wonderful clients. there isn't a day that goes by that i don't realize how amazing everything is and how thankful i am for all of you letting us into your lives in such a profound way. being able to share these moments and capture them is something that geoff and i both love. we love being able to learn and travel and watch as these beautiful moments happen. tonight at bill & sandy's rehearsal dinner
was exactly that. we watched as bill & sandy stood tearfully in front of 110 of their family & friends and thanked each of them for traveling for their wedding. we watched while bill turned to sandy and said to her 'thank you for saying yes'. it was a perfect night. and as friends and family members made their way to their open mic - everyone kept saying the same things about them. how wonderful they are and how they are the best friends that anyone could ever have.
the napkins had fun facts about sandy & bill on them! i thought that was the cutest idea. here are a few of the fun facts:
fun fact #2: sandy loves march madness as much as bill loves penn state. she even went to the final four in 1999
fun fact #6: despite his days as a collegiate high jumper, by far bill's glory days were in midget football
the wedding is tomorrow - with a ceremony on the beach and the reception at the southernmost house in key west. sunday is a day after shoot followed by a sunset sail.
s&b - thank you so much for bringing us along on this wonderful weekend.
geoff and i are literally ready to run out the door to the airport to catch a plane to key west for sandy & bill's wedding. but i wanted to quickly post two pictures from both of our weddings this weekend.
the first from jason & francesca's wedding
and the second from carla & mike's wedding
more to follow on those weddings when we return.
nicole & garri
are two of my favorite people. so when they asked me to take their family photo with their newest edition leon - i was excited. leon is just so cute and full of energy and garri and nicole are just the sweetest. they are searching for their first house and embarking on that new chapter of their lives together. i not only love watching as everything unfolds and they build their life with each other but i also cherish their friendship.
here are a few of my favorites.
